Pagosa area model railroaders to meet in Farmington

The Silver San Juan Division of the National Model Railroad Association will hold its spring meeting on Saturday, April 21, at the Farmington Museum, 3041 East Main St., Farmington, N.M., starting at 9 a.m.

Anyone who loves trains is invited.

The program will include clinics on modeling roads, layout videos, updates on current activities from the Durango Railroad Historical Society and the Friends of the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad. There will be a demonstration and discussion on designing and constructing HO modules by division members.

Also included in the program will be a swap tables for paid up division newsletter subscribers, and a favorite train contest. “From the Workbench” and “First Aid for Modelers” sessions provide an opportunity for all to bring models and questions to share with the group.
