Rosalie D. Martinez, of Chromo Colo., was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 8. Rosalie was born June 22, 1947, in Pagosa Springs, to Carlos and Floripa Martinez. On Feb. 8, 1965, she married John O. Martinez.
Our mom loved going to the movies, the casino, shopping and spending time with her children. She always had a delicious meal ready for us when we would visit her. Her children and grandchildren were her everything. She was always praying for each one of her kids and grandkids. She was a very loving mom and Nana Rosie.
Rosalie is survived by her loving daughters, Christina Martinez and Anette McInnis (son-in-law Jeremy McInnis); and her two loving sons, Matthew Martinez (daughter-in-law Pauline) and Carlos Martinez (Joline Lefthand Bull). She had six grandkids: Matthew and Bo Martinez, Reyes and Ryan McInnis, Draven and Emiliano Martinez; two step-grandkids, AJ and Zanders; five great-grandkids: Brookie Whitehawk, Lane and Danielle Martinez, and Tristin and Wyatt Martinez.
