Kim Jones was born on Nov. 21, 1963. She was born in Grand Junction to Jannis Gale Frick and Richard Ellis Jones. She went home to be with her beloved family and friends that preceded her in death on Sept. 29. She was 53 years old.

Kim had a huge family and is survived by her parents, Jannis Frick and Richard Jones, of Grand Junction. Also, her stepparents, Michael Frick and Mary Jones; her two daughters, Kesy Jade Curtis and Krisha Dayle Curtis, of Pagosa Springs; Shasta Brown and Zach Brown, of Collbran, Colo.; her life partner, Glenn Gallagher; her sisters, Bette Burdick, Julie Kirkhart, Summer Jones, Eve Kirkhart, Aaron Frick and Alex Frick; her grandchildren, Daymien, Kenzy, Kayden and Jevin; her uncle Stan and Andy Jones; aunt Garry Franklin, Bob Hunt, Karen Hunt, Dale and Twila Hunt. She had six nieces and nephews and one great-niece and nephew. She had multiple cousins and many other family members who loved her.

Kim lived a vivacious, animated, zestful, lively, exciting and magical life. She impacted and left her mark on everyone she met. She was a force of nature and could do anything. She never met a stranger. She was loved for the moment she was born and she will be forever missed and in our hearts.

She loved her daughters, her Glenn, her grandkids, her best friend Heather, her parents, her family, her dogs and her many, many friends. She loved to go to the family cabins, she loved to be in her garden and she loved to can, a skill she learned from her beloved Grandmother Faye. She loved to cook, she was a fantastic artist, she was creative, she loved nature, picking asparagus, picking berries and driving her cars really, really fast.
