Tony A. Gallegos, formerly of Pagosa Springs, passed away in his Nucla home on June 3.Tony was married to Elidia M. Gallegos (deceased) and is survived by his four children: Monica Olivera, Veronica Pinnecoose, Albert Gallegos and Toni Gallegos Atkins. Tony is remembered by many for his joking demeanor and love of softball. He played that game well into his 70s. A celebration of life memorial is in planning for Friday, Aug. 11, at 6 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Hall.
