Pagosa Ranger District monitors forest fire south of Treasure Falls

According to San Juan National Forest Public Affairs Specialist Ann Bond, Pagosa Ranger District crews are currently monitoring a fire caused by a lightning strike that was reported at 5:25 p.m. Friday. Crews report there has been no smoke from the fire today. The burn area is two-tenths of an acre located south of U.S. 160 and south of Treasure Falls.
