Ingrid Leppitsch, of the Pagosa Ranch Community, passed away at 5:15 p.m. on Friday June 2, at Pine Ridge Extended Care Center.
Arrived from Austria 49 years ago, Ingrid and her husband, Sepp, retired to Pagosa Springs 20 years ago. Drawn by the mountains and the hot springs, Ingrid and Sepp discovered acceptance among the Grey Wolves Ski Club and skied with their buddies every season on Wolf Creek Pass. They both found a home in Pope John Paul II Catholic Church; some time after Sepp passed 10 years ago, Ingrid also found caring fellowship in St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church. Ingrid bids goodbye to the people of Pagosa, who have given her such a wonderful retirement. She is survived by four children and three grandchildren.
