State fire protection agreement approved by county

At its regular meeting on Feb. 7, the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners ignored heavy snow covering the ground to get a jump on fire season by approving an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with the state of Colorado for cooperative wildfire protection.
