Special to The PREVIEW

The goal of the Computer Fix-It-Free Day is to provide free technical assistance to members of our community who would otherwise not be able to afford it. All the information posted is previously reviewed by a local business IT company.

Local computer technicians are donating their time. Used parts will be provided at no charge by the Humane Society for the purpose of repair and the volunteering computer technicians. If new parts are needed, they will be provided at a discount.

If you would like to donate parts and/or used computers, we gladly accept items that are less than 5 years old. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any computers running Windows XP or Vista. Please label the items “Fix-It-Free” and take them to the Humane Society Thrift Store prior to noon Jan. 20.

Computer repairs are by appointment only on Jan. 21. To schedule an appointment and prove eligibility, please call The Training Advantage at 264-5627, ext. 1 or 2 before noon on Jan. 20.
