Winter Hills Fire southeast of Pagosa Springs 75 percent contained

Ground crews report 75 percent containment today of the Winter Hills Fire at 4.1 acres. The small wildfire was reported yesterday morning as the result of a lightning strike about seven miles southeast of Pagosa Springs on National Forest lands.  Firefighters report the area has cloud cover this afternoon and is experiencing rain.
