“The year to date (January and February combined) 2016 sales tax is $63,081 (5.4%) ahead of 2015,” reads Walton’s report. “This is very close to the rate of growth anticipated by the County budget for these two months. Most of the individual categories are relatively unchanged from 2015, or are down by modest amounts.”
