Man drives Outback down under

The Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) is investigating why a 23-year-old drove his vehicle into Village Lake recently, with the driver reporting that he was being chased by a man with a gun.

At approximately 2:15 p.m. on April 18, Archuleta County Combined Dispatch received a call reporting the car in the lake, with the Pagosa Fire Protection District (PFPD) dispatched two minutes later, indicated the PFPD Firefighter Colton Calavan.
