The unemployment rate for Archuleta County rose to 3.9 percent in March, with 6,339 people in the labor force and 248 of those claiming unemployment.
In February, there were 6,317 people in the county’s labor force with 238, or 3.8 percent, claiming unemployment. The total workforce gained 22 people over the month, while the number of unemployed people was up by 10, causing the .1 percent increase in unemployment.
