Now that the snow has receded and our lawns and landscapes are being revealed, the winter work of a small mouse-like animal is creating quite a stir.
Damage to landscapes occurred this winter under the cover of heavy snow as the critters created pathways through the snow running from one burrow opening to another, packing the runways with grass clippings.
