Questions about the necessity and value of a proposed new bridge over the San Juan River at 5th Street prompted the Pagosa Springs Town Council to approve payment of $40,000 for expert traffic and economic impact studies to evaluate the proposal.
The approval came at town council’s April 6 meeting.
