Preventing refund fraud a priority for Colorado income tax returns

The Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) wants taxpayers to know that it continues to ensure income tax filing information is secure and that taxpayers can expect enhanced measures to detect refund fraud this year.

Criminals have access to an incredible amount of personal data from business and financial sources. They may contact you by telephone and email with scams to get you to provide personal information.
