Commission recommends denying cell tower

During a regular meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 24, the Archuleta County Planning Commission voted to recommend to the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) that it deny the application for a monopine cell tower in the Lake Forest area.

The decision came after a public hearing held on the matter at the meeting, which was continued from the planning commission’s Jan. 27 meeting.
