Council rejects closed session after public comment

The agenda for the Pagosa Springs Town Council’s regular Feb. 18 meeting included a proposed executive session concerning the town’s 10-Year Vested Rights Agreement with Springs Partners.

The session was intended to consider instructions to negotiators regarding potential revision of the agreement. But the proposal was tabled after a suggestion by council member David Schanzenbaker that terms of the agreement should instead be discussed publicly.
