Happy holidays from the Pagosa Nordic Club.

The snow keeps falling.

With the recent, fresh and additional forecasted snow, numerous groomed cross-country ski trails are now available for your enjoyment. The following trails are groomed wide for skate skiing with set tracks for classic cross-country skiing, and are open to the public and free to use.

The Wolf Creek Ski Area is grooming 10k in Alberta Park. The trailhead is accessed at the east end of the Tranquility parking lot at the ski area by a short ski (or walk) from the parking lot downhill to the Alberta Meadow with trails to Alberta Lake, through the trees and in the meadow.

The Pagosa Ranger District is grooming 14k at Coyote Hill. The trailhead is located 6 miles up Piedra Road, on the right after the first cattle guard. With lots of varying ability trail loops available and the proximity to town, this is a very popular area for all ability levels.
