WOLF, the Winter Outdoor Learning Fund, founded by Wolf Creek Ski patrollers and members of our outdoor community, is hosting a fundraiser on Thursday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. at the Rez Hill Grill.

Proceeds will fund two scholarships for local youth to attend an avalanche or wilderness medicine course.

WOLF’s aim is to foster greater enthusiasm for the outdoors in young adults in a safe and fun way. The goal is to raise $1,000 by the end of January and have two recipients participate in classes this winter. The scholarship deadline is Jan. 31.

WOLF supports the development of our outdoor community with a focus on future generations and increasing decision-making skills and confidence in the backcountry.
