Special to The PREVIEW

Pagosa Piecemakers Quilting Guild members have been hard at work making mini quilt wall hangings to be sold at the Holiday Bazaar in Durango at the Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall Dec. 4-6.

These quilts run the gamut from art pieces to holiday themes to traditional country charm and will be sold at just $12 each. Each one shows the originality of the maker and there are more than 400 in the collection, which will also include some table runners and small stylish handbags — perfect for gifts on a budget. The little quilts range in size from 8 to 18 inches and come in a variety of styles, fabrics and embellishments — some sparkle, some are 3-D, all are treasures.
