The Archuleta County Republican Women will be meeting at The View restaurant on Oct. 13 at noon.
Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners Chairman Michael Whiting, Sheriff Richard Valdez, and school board candidates Greg Schick, Lisl Keuning and Bill Hudson will present at the meeting.
Whiting has resided in Archuleta County since 2005, is a two-term unaffiliated county commissioner and current chair of the BoCC. He serves on several boards including San Juan Basin Health Department, San Juan Basin Area Agency on Aging and the Southwest Colorado Council of Governments.
