Public invited to meeting on moving Division of Voc Rehab to State Labor Department

In March, Gov. John Hickenlooper signed legislation into law that will transfer the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) from the Department of Human Services into the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE).

The legislation mandated that public meetings be conducted throughout the state to allow the public, including individuals with disabilities, opportunities to provide input. A meeting has been scheduled in Durango on Oct. 19, from 8:30 to 10 a.m., at La Plata Electric Association, 45 Stewart St.
