Special to The PREVIEW

The focus for the Mountain View Homemakers’ Sept. 10 meeting will be a program on how to package gift baskets for our Nov. 7 Holiday Bazaar.

In addition to over 50 vendor booths at the bazaar, the silent auction features wonderful gift baskets created by club members. According to Aileen Wolfer, the silent auction chair, we will be wrapping one basket at each table.

All area women are invited to meet at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, in the Extension building at the fairgrounds. There will be a covered-dish lunch at noon. First-time visitors are not expected to bring food. However, everyone who attends is asked to please bring their own place setting.

Mountain View Homemakers is a 50-year-old women’s service organization. We welcome all area women who are interested in bettering their lives, the lives of their families and the community as a whole. The monthly meetings include lunch and a speaker or activity. This is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends in the community.

There are no dues or membership requirements to join this friendly and diverse group of women.
