Rod passed peacefully at his home on July 24 surrounded by his family.
Rod is survived by his wife, Mary; his sons, David (Barb) Gallegos, Robert (Yvonne) Brunson, Jay Dee (Melanie) Brunson; six grandchildren, Gabriel, Jayden, Laci, Beau, Cassie and Darren; two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Naya; three brothers, Larry, Terry and David Dean (Doris) Brunson; and one sister, Chris (Kerry) Roquist; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rod is preceded in death by his father, Legrand, and mother, Helen Brunson.
A rosary is scheduled for July 31 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 6 p.m. A funeral is scheduled for Aug. 1 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Lewis Street at 10 a.m., following with the burial at Hilltop Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Parish Hall. Father Kenny Udumka will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Rod’s life.
