West Fork Fire talk, tour June 19, 20

Communities affected by the West Fork Fire will gather to discuss the history of the fire, current conditions and what the future may bring, on June 19 and 20 at the Wolf Creek Ski Area.

Mountain Studies Institute, the Rio Grande Watershed Emergency Action Coordination Team, San Juan Headwaters Forest Health Partnership, Southwest Firewise, Southern Rockies Fire Science Network and the Rio Grande and San Juan national forests are bringing together a diverse collection of voices and interests from both sides of the divide to talk about the West Fork Fire.

There are approximately 80 people expected to attend and participate in the free food and conversation.
