After Justin Cowan was named as the new principal for Pagosa Springs Elementary School on Tuesday, interviews took place Tuesday to complete the leadership team at PSES.
Laura Mijares, who is currently the program manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Archuleta County, was the selected candidate for the assistant principal job.
The pair are filling positions left vacant by Kate Lister and Chantelle Jordan, respectively, who both resigned from the district this spring.
