Currently, the ASD 2014-2015 pupil count for funding purposes totals 1,380.6 and per-pupil funding is set at $8,179.75, which totals $11,292,969. This amount preceded what is commonly termed as the “negative factor,” which sent $1,464,370 back to the state, leaving $9,828,598, or a reduced per-pupil funding amount of $7,119.08.
