Archuleta School District Superintendent Linda Reed confirmed both resignations and sent an email out earlier this week to the elementary school staff outlining a plan to move forward.
Lister has served as principal of PSES since 2004. She looks forward to working with rural schools in a new role with Generation Schools in conjunction with Battelle for Kids.
“As I have begun traveling across the state, as well as some eastern states with Generation Schools, I am reminded of what a jewel Archuleta School District is for our students. Our dedicated, talented staff and the district’s commitment to thinking outside of the box has created unique educational opportunities that are not available in most school systems.
