The Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners has scheduled an emergency meeting for 2 p.m. this afternoon (April 27) to discuss the courthouse in light of last weekend's flooding of the western portion of the building during roof repair work.
At the meeting, the board is anticipated to discuss how, and if, to move forward with repair of the building, as well as other items involving the courthouse.
Because of the flooding, the jail inmates were relocated to the La Plata County Detention Facility and the Archuleta County Sheriff's Office administrative functions have been moved to the office's Emergency Operations Center.
