The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is beginning a project in Region 5, spanning Archuleta, Dolores and La Plata counties, to conduct bridge deck repairs on multiple bridges, install waterproofing membrane, replace expansion devices, and resurface and re-stripe the roadway over those bridges.
GA Western Construction Co. is the contractor on this $2 million project, which is funded through CDOT’s RAMP (Responsible Acceleration of Maintenance and Partnerships) program.
Work has commenced and is expected to last until December 2015. The work is expected to progress on the following schedule (please note, this schedule is likely to vary somewhat based on work items and/or weather impacts):
