The Archuleta County Republican Women are meeting at Boss Hogg’s on April 14 from noon to 1:30 p.m.

This month’s featured speaker is Jennifer Lindberg. Lindberg has been the coordinator of the CIRCLE Initiative since May 2012. She will explain how the CIRCLE Initiative brings together people who are struggling to get out of poverty and gain self-sustainability.

The CIRCLE Initiative was established in 2011 through the outreach efforts of the Community United Methodist Church and former pastor Don Ford in order to assist the community in coming up with an answer to the “Band-Aid” services which typically provide short-term solutions to long-term problems that include poverty, hunger, homelessness and job insecurity.

Lindberg is a fifth-generation member of the Pagosa Springs community. She is married, a mother of four and also manages the Community United Methodist Thrift Store.

Everyone is invited to join us and learn more about this organization and the meaningful impact on our community. As always, Boss Hogg’s will be offering lunch for $11.
