Zoe Jeane Jarboe of Magnolia, Texas, passed away peacefully of heart failure in her daughter’s Magnolia home March 24, 2015, at 10:55 a.m.
Zoe had been a spiritual leader and advisor in the Houston area for the last 28 years, with the exception of 2008, when she lived in Pagosa Springs with her daughter. Zoe is still remembered fondly by several Pagosa residents.
Born June 29, 1926, in Springfield, Mo., the only child of Eugene and Mildred Finn, Zoe lived a full, rich and varied life for over eight decades. Zoe was a larger-than-life personality, a true artist and a gifted counselor.
Zoe is survived by her four children and seven grandchildren. Mark A. Swinney, of Saguache, Colo.; Ann T. Finn, of Magnolia, Texas; Luke P. Swinney, of Kennewick, Wash.; and Rebecca A. Cortez, of Pagosa Springs. There will be a celebration of her life in the Houston area in April of 2015.
