At the March 14 regional tournament for Destination Imagination at Fort Lewis College, three of Pagosa Springs’ teams qualified for the state tournament in Denver April 25.

Destination Imagination is a competition that challenges students in one of seven open-ended challenges requiring young people to apply science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), in addition to improvisation, theater arts, writing, project management, communication, innovation, teamwork and community service.
