“We’ve been discussing this and working on this since September,” board chairman Jason Cox explained.
Last year, when Ed Morlan from the Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado, began an effort to kick-start the CDC, he asked both the Pagosa Springs Town Council and the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners what it would take to get local government involved in the organization again, especially in terms of finances.
