Snow did indeed fall in Pagosa Country last weekend, but much of the area failed to receive the several feet forecasted the previous week.
Wolf Creek Ski Area, however, received more than 5 feet since Feb. 26.
Year-to-date snowfall rang in at 268 inches as of Wednesday afternoon, up from 165 inches on Feb. 19 and 207 inches as of Feb. 26.
But while Pagosa escaped much of the snowfall and its associated effects, area residents still couldn’t escape a power outage.
