County sets sights on courthouse remodel

Archuleta County is looking to move forward with a project to remodel the courthouse, with the Board of County Commissioners approving the scope of services for the first phase of the project Tuesday afternoon.

For the work, the county chose Reynolds Ash and Associates in an amount not to exceed $27,750, according to a memo by County Administrator Bentley Henderson.

That memo also states that the first phase of the project is a “Facility Evaluation,” further stating that such an evaluation “is the first step in the process that staff has identified related to the comprehensive analysis of the courthouse.”
