Parents of seniors: Is it a desire that someone sit and hold your hand as you fill out the mother of all financial aid applications, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid?
The counseling department of Pagosa Springs High School is going to make your dream come true, providing an evening when you can bring your taxes with you and we will do your FAFSA together, on the spot. There will be experts on the FAFSA available to guide you and answer your questions.
The open time is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5; come in any time in that two-hour window. The event will be in the downstairs computer labs at the high school (down the hall on the left, past the main office). Depending on the demand, expect the process to take from 30 to 40 minutes to complete the FAFSA application. Please plan to take advantage of this opportunity.
