Seventeen-year-old Jessey Hampton recently returned from an adventure starting in Loreto, Mexico, and onto the Sea of Cortez as she learned to sail over the course of 22 days.

As a member of the 2014 GECKO (Giving Every Child Knowledge of the Outdoors) scholarship group, Hampton and another four recipients were each sponsored on a course with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).
