Glenn Edward Brown

Glenn Edward Brown was born Sept. 2, 1934. He left this earth to be with his Savior Oct. 26.

Glenn was born to Wallace Edward Brown and Edna (Nancy) Brown in Dallas. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Peggy McAdams and Joann Brown, and his son, Emmett Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Sheran Brown, and son Brady (Ginger) Brown and his wife, Ginger; and by his son, Brad Brown, and his wife, Kristina. He is survived by grandchildren Rachel Brown, BJ Brown, Dusten Brown, Ashley Brown and Maddie Brown, great-grandchildren Caseon and Brooks Brown; and many friends.

Glenn loved the outdoors. Glenn was very skilled with tools. He could build or fix almost anything. He had the ability to picture a project in his mind — and then had the ability to complete all the steps and assemble all the pieces with great results.

For many years, Glenn was a bi-vocational pastor of several rural Baptist churches in Texas — a junior high teacher during the week and pastor nights and Sundays.

Glenn married Sheran in 1996.

Most recently, Glenn served his church as the adult Sunday school teacher and as an elder on the Servant Team. Glenn demonstrated his deep love for the word of God — often responding to questions by just quoting a pertinent verse of scripture. That was his answer — that was what he contributed.

A memorial service was held on Oct. 29.
