At a special meeting on Nov. 5, the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners “set aside” $150,000 in funding to help construct a new facility on the Archuleta County Fairgrounds, though certain conditions have to be met for the county to expend the funds.
The facility is slated to be a 64-foot by 250-foot agriculture education and equestrian center with removable arena and access panels.
