With fall weather in the air, the Pagosa Nordic Club (PNC) is preparing for another great winter — cross-country ski season.

For the third year in a row, the PNC is conducting an early season membership drive, with all paid memberships before Sept. 26 entered into a drawing for a free Wolf Creek Ski Area season ski pass (a $682 early season pass value and $853 regular season pass value).

The drawing for the free Wolf Creek season pass and other great merchandise and prizes will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. at Pagosa Brewing Company, located at 118 N. Pagosa Blvd. To be eligible for the drawing, you must sign up for your 2014-15 winter PNC season membership at PagosaNordic.com before 5 p.m. on Sept. 26, or show up in person at the Pagosa Brewing Company and sign up between 5 and 5:55 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26. All mailed memberships must be received by Sept. 26. The drawing will immediately follow at 6 p.m. Contact PagosaNordic@gmail.com for any questions.

The season pass winner will be notified immediately following the drawing and will be posted on our website, PagosaNordic.com. This is a great opportunity to support PNC with the bonus of a chance to win a free ski pass and other great prizes, so don’t wait; sign up now.

The PNC is a nonprofit volunteer organization with a mission “To enhance winter recreational opportunities in Pagosa Springs by maintaining accessible groomed winter trails for skate skiing, classic cross country skiing and snowshoeing for all ability levels and to encourage and promote the use of these winter trails through education, marketing and events.”
