Enjoy nature lessons and camaraderie on a three-day backpacking trip for ladies ages 13 and up on Sept. 12, 13 and 14. This trip will be great for novices, but experienced backpackers can also enjoy the trek through the woods. The location will be one of two spots in the La Platas.
The trip is free and free rental equipment may also be available. The event is sponsored by San Juan Mountains Association and San Juan National Forest. You can register by calling M.K. Thompson at 759-9113 or emailing MK@sjma.org.
