Light on the horizon: Cerner’s impact expected to ease soon

June was another strong revenue month for the Upper San Juan Health Service District (USJHSD), with gross patient revenue coming in over $3 million for the second month in a row. Even with positive revenue trends, the electronic health records system (Cerner) is still having a strong financial impact on the district, primarily affecting the clinic and accounts receivable.
