Colorado Parks and Wildlife invites kids, ages 12 and under, to enjoy an outdoors scavenger hunt at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Rosa Campground Facilities Building.  Kids will get to enjoy a one-hour hike and explore nature’s surroundings on the Rosa Trail, while learning about nature and natural food chains.

For those interested in crafts, at 9 a.m., Sunday, July 13, kids can gather at the Rosa Campground Facilities Building to make their own foam windsock with a Navajo Lake fish/nature theme. Kids will learn about lake and river ecosystems and food chains while making a hanging windsock as a souvenir of their Navajo Lake visit.

For more information on the programs, please call the Navajo State Park office at 883-2208. Navajo State Park is located at 1526 County Road 982 in Arboles.
