Thomas JohnstonCurrent surveyor Thomas Johnston is throwing his hat in the ring for another go-round in the position.
Johnston, an unaffiliated candidate, was appointed to the position in 2013 following the retirement of the previous surveyor, and states of his choice to run for election: “Since my appointment to office in 2013, I have begun several projects which are still in their infancy that I would like to bring to completion such as changing the language in our County Subdivision Regulations to bring them in to conformity with State Statutes.”
