Bill requires titling off-highway vehicles purchased from dealers

Effective July 1, Senate Bill 13-280, Titling Off-Highway Vehicles (OHV), requires the titling of off-highway vehicles and snowmobiles sold to or purchased from Colorado dealerships and creates the option of titling OHVs for private-party sales.

The registration of OHVs will still be completed through Colorado Parks and Wildlife. For more information regarding OHV registration, please visit

The current titling laws, processes and procedures for motor vehicles now apply to titled OHVs.
