Effective July 1, Senate Bill 13-280, Titling Off-Highway Vehicles (OHV), requires the titling of off-highway vehicles and snowmobiles sold to or purchased from Colorado dealerships and creates the option of titling OHVs for private-party sales.

The registration of OHVs will still be completed through Colorado Parks and Wildlife. For more information regarding OHV registration, please visit cpw.state.co.us/buyapply/Pages/RegistrationsOHV.aspx.

Titling of an OHV is completed through the customer’s county motor vehicle office. For complete lists of offices, please visit www.colorado.gov/revenue.

The current titling laws, processes and procedures for motor vehicles now apply to titled OHVs.

For more information regarding titling of OHVs, please visit www.colorado.gov/revenue.
