Seniors plan next ‘Picnic in the Park’

The Senior Center will hold its next “Picnic in the Park” on Friday, July 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burgers and brats, tri-colored pasta salad, roasted mixed vegetables, tossed salad and mixed berries will be served.

Memberships

Senior Discount Club memberships are now offered Monday through Friday.

Activities

We need volunteers and ideas for speakers and/or new activities. Please call the Senior Center with information or inquiries at 264-2167.

Menu

Did you know that the Pagosa Springs Senior Center has a fabulous salad bar? The salad bar is $6 for anyone under 60. If you are a senior (60 years and older), you are eligible for a hot meal, drink and our salad bar for only a $4 suggested donation. All meals include our salad bar. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Friday, July 4 — Closed for Independence Day.

Monday, July 7 — Grilled chicken breast sandwich, seasoned whole grain pasta, roasted mixed vegetables and fruit.

Tuesday, July 8 — Whole grain spaghetti with vegetable marinara, meatballs, green beans and bread sticks.

Wednesday, July 9 — Sliced turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomato on whole grain bread, chicken noodle soup and melon salad.

Reservations and cancellations are required. You can make a reservation at 264-2167 by 9 a.m. the morning of the day you would like to dine in the Community Café at the Pagosa Springs Senior Center. For your convenience, you can make your reservations in advance or have a standing reservation on days you know you will always attend. Please cancel if you cannot attend on your standing reservation days.
