On Wednesday, June 18, the Weminuche Audubon Society (WAS) will hold its annual meeting at 4 p.m. at the terrazzo in Yamaguchi Park.
WAS members are encouraged to attend this important meeting, during which there will be discussion about the upcoming fiscal year’s events, goals and governing board. New members to the board will be elected. If any WAS member would like to serve on the board, please call Dottie George at 731-5759.
The schedule for the afternoon is setup at 3 p.m., birding the Yamaguchi trail at 4 p.m. and dinner and the meeting to follow. Cleanup starts at 7 p.m. WAS will provide dinner and sodas; no alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park.
Please RSVP to Dottie (731-5759) or Becky (264-2171). The board asks that you bring a chair and a dessert to share along with your own utensils — and, of course, whatever birding equipment you might need.
