On June 6 at the uptown Quality Resort, the pavilion committee will present The Winner’s Circle Buffet. This is the culmination of the recipe contest and cookbook, with all the gold, silver and bronze medalists presenting their winning recipes at one spectacular buffet.
There will be 33 entries from beverages to desserts. There will be a cash bar and tickets are $30 per person and will be available at the door. Donating their talents for this event will be the Retro Cats featuring Greg Milioto and Bruce Wayne, joined by the lovely voice of June Marquez with Marcus Rivas accompanying on drums, as well as playing DJ. To round out the evening, we will be having a live auction with Michael Branch as our caller in addition to a silent auction.
Having already secured our winter ice rink, we are directing our proceeds to securing the purchase of our land. Please visit our website at pagosapavilion.org. Your donations will help build an all-weather, all-season structure that will be able to host large concerts, private parties and special events. The structure will be the only regulation roller/hockey rink other than in Colorado Springs or Santa Fe in the Four Corners area.
We will be selling our Taste of Pagosa cookbooks and they will be available at the event. They make great gifts for family and friends and an awesome souvenir for our visitors. The original limited-edition cookbooks are $25, so be sure to reserve or purchase yours before they are gone.
