County extends marijuana moratorium

With possible approval of an ordinance regulating marijuana businesses just around the corner, the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners extended the county’s moratorium on retail marijuana businesses during its regular meeting Tuesday evening.

The decision extends the moratorium through Aug. 1, with the county scheduled to consider an ordinance regulating all marijuana sales in the county in June.
